Hold your breath, Art Deco lovers, this necklace is phenomenal!
This is the kind of necklace that comes along so seldom it is worth taking special note of its beauty and uniqueness.
Measuring a very long 33'" with a 4" drop, this amethyst and clear crystal necklace features the largest, showiest, amethyst glass round stone you've ever seen. The connecting chains of stones are extraordinary as well.
All of the metal is sterling silver-- all of the rings, all of the frames. It is not marked but has been tested.
The colors of the stones, so vibrant, are beautiful. The 1-1/2" round stone at the bottom, as well as the five faceted rectangular stones just above it, are deep, rich purple. Farther up the chain, the remaining eight rectangular stones are deep lavender. These measure 9/16" by 7/16". The spacer stones, in smaller rectangles and rounds, are deep purple and bright, clear crystal.
The big, heavy round stone at bottom is faceted and comes to a point at back. It radiates light and color. It weighs in at over 29g. and fits in the palm of your hand.
All of the stones have amazing sparkle and brightness. There is not a bad stone in the bunch; they are in excellent condition, without chips or broken corners, just the occasional flea bite.
The approximate weight of the entire necklace is 103g.
My last picture shows this beauty on an 18" display, to give you a sense of its wondrous size. All you need now is the dress.
