A stunning pair of dangling vintage earrings in red glass and silver metal filigree. They're large and long, with a big button at top, a ring and ornate filigree connector, and a big oval bead at bottom trimmed around the outside with small matching wired beads.
I believe these are the work of French master Louis Rousselet, judging from the quality, design, and type of clip earring back, which is marked FRANCE. Rousselet's work was unsigned and produced through the 1960s.
In my photos, these beauties appear to be bright red, but their color in person is brick red, and more muted. The button tops have a brownish hue.
They measure 2-5/16" from the top, 3/4" at widest, and are in excellent condition.
