Wonderful and scarce Jakob Bengel necklace from 1932 Germany, in chrome and galalith. It's a great example of German Art Deco design.
This is very flattering to the wearer, encircling the neck with crescent shapes in silver metal and deep maroon.
Unmarked, as are all Bengel pieces. Measures 18" by 11/16".
There is a tiny chip on one edge of the center galaith crescent which is hidden by the overlapping metal. I'm mentioning this for accuracy, as it is not seen and does not affect the stability of that element.
I have included a photo from the definitive Jakob Bengel book by C. Weber-Stober, of a necklace with a similar design in black, from the 1932 collection.
