Antique Victorian bangle bracelet with three large garnets in 14k gold fill. This hinged bangle is a treasure, combining three large (3mm) sparkling garnets with gold fill that is rich and mellow. Two of the garnets are red while one has purple tones and none is chipped or scratched. The bracelet opens and closes well. The gold fill is in very good condition with no dings or scratches. The rounded edges and smooth texture of the metal feel lovely when wearing. It is marked RFS&Co inside, faint. I acid-tested the gold and found it to be 14k, but these bracelets had underpinnings of a hard metal like steel. The bangle measures 2-3/8" by 2", medium size.
