Antique Chinese carnelian and seed pearl earrings in 14k gold. These chandeliers are both delicate and bold, dating between 1900-1920, that transitional period between Edwardian and Art Deco. They dance with movement and display beautiful texture and color.
Graceful filigree elements with beading support chains of tiny pearls and striking carved carnelian stones at bottom. The carnelians have a fruit motif: they have been carved into oranges with leaves. They are a wonderful light-orange in color, somewhat translucent.
The new posts have replaced screw backs. All the gold has been tested as 14k. They weigh 8.2g together and condition is very fine.
