Antique bangle bracelet with pastes, Victorian or Edwardian, in smooth gold fill. Slender with rounded edges and five groups of tiny pastes, this is a lovely, romantic piece. Each group of three pastes has graceful engravings so they appear as little flowers. Although they have darkened with age, the groups of pastes are alternately purple and clear. They are all original, and two show some wear under magnification, unseen with the naked eye.
The bangle measures 2-1/2" by 2-1/8" across the top, or 7" around the inside with a tape. The bracelet is 5/16" wide. It is in fine condition with no dents or scratches. The clasp opens well and snaps closed. The inside is inscribed Sadie A, and the makers' mark CAM & CO. It weighs 24.4g.
