Art Deco carnelian ring with marcasites, marked Sterling, Germany. It features a faceted honey colored carnelian set in a large, open-worked oval frame studded with bright marcasites; what makes it especially interesting is that the stone is not in the middle but rather off-set towards the narrower end.
You can wear the ring upwards or downwards, see my photos. It is size 6-1/4" or 6-1/2".
The front measures 1" north to south and 11/16" east to west. The base is slightly domed so the ring sits 3/8" above the finger.
I didn't see the tiny missing marcasite until after picture taking, but it is now restored. The stone is in good shape with no chips or scratches.
