Theodor Fahrner Art Deco necklace from the late 1920s. This magnificent necklace combines two blue chalcedony stones and three amazonites; matte blue enamel chevrons and dots; and gilded silver, soldered with corded wire in circles. It is marked with the TF logo and 935 on the reverse.
The contoured plaque measures 1-5/8" x 1-1/4". The original chain, silver with matte enamel squares and tiny beading, attaches to the two loops on either side of the plaque. The total length of the necklace is 28-1/2".
This piece appears on p. 214 of the Fahrner bible, "Theodor Fahrner Jewelry...Between Avantgarde and Tradition," with different stones. The condition is excellent.
