Art Deco snake bangle bracelet with enameling and rhinestones. Highly decorative with lots of embellishments, this Egyptian Revival bangle is made up of cream-colored celluloid with black and gold enameling; clear pastes; black rhinestones; and very tiny rose gold colored stones. Quite a wonderful show!
It measures 2-1/8" by 2-1/4" across the top. It is not at all flexible and there is no hinge, so it will only fit a small wrist and hand. Please be sure that your hand will fit inside a 2-1/8" opening.
The condition is very good overall. Many of the gold beads are missing, not noticeable in all the complexity. The enameling turns from black to dark blue in a couple of areas, but that is from the original painting. The celluloid is completely intact with no chips or discoloration.
