Spectacular Egyptian Revival snake bracelet with turquoise glass panels. Attributed to Whiting Davis, this bracelet has an outstanding design that suggests the artistry of the Neiger Brothers. The flexible coiled mesh body, scaly and decorated, has two turquoise glass panels shaped like snake heads; each panel shows an Egyptian pharaoh and hieroglyphics.
The bracelet is very large in scale, measuring 1-3/8" wide on the wrist. Presently it is tightly coiled and only 1-1/2" across the top, but it will expand to fit most wrists. In addition, it appears unworn, so the condition is pristine. It is unmarked.
Feast your eyes on the details of this beauty. It may have been part of the Whiting Davis 1963 "Cleopatra Collection" celebrating the Elizabeth Taylor blockbuster movie.
Gender: Female, Age Group: Adult, Color: Gold/Turquoise, Size: Flexible
