Antique locket with clear pastes in yellow gold fill, exceptionally lovely. The front features a lavish floral motif that curves upward and falls earthward in an Art Nouveau design. The flowers and leaves are studded with bright clear pastes that gleam against the gold background. Every paste is original and only two show the slightest darkening. Inside, the locket is completely outfitted with frames and lenses. The back is initialed AEK. The locket is marked W&H for Wightman and Hough, 1855-1922. There are no dings, dents, or scratches, only the slightest age-related wear. It measures 1-3/8" including the attached loop.
I have added a beautiful, gold-filled dog clip with jump rings that look perfect with the locket. The clip is marked 1/20 12k S.O.B. for S.O. Bigney, and the condition is excellent. This addition is about 1" and can be changed out if you prefer.
