Antique Edwardian dangling earrings with amethyst pastes and faux pearls. Deep purple stones, rectangular and bezel-set, contrast nicely with delicate chains of lustrous white faux pearls. The metal is pale gold in color and appears to be a gold wash over base metal. The earrings measure 2" from the top of the shepherd's hook by 5/16" at widest. The condition is very good with minor wear to the pearls. They were converted to wires from ear screws.
