Elegant Theodor Fahrner bracelet with buckle and strap motif, Germany, early 1930s. The design of this bracelet is sleek and modern with its diagonal rows of marcasites on larger corded horizontal plaques and smaller corded vertical plaques. (I'm calling it corded, but it is technically soldered, corded wire.)
Don't be fooled by the subtlety of this bracelet; it's really striking and opulent looking in person. The dazzling marcasites contrast beautifully with the corded surfaces. Smaller in scale than most Fahrner pieces, it only measures 6-1/4" long, clasped, and 9/16" at widest. The insert clasp is marked Sterling, Original Fahrner, the jewelry line manufactured between 1929-'39. There is a figure-8 safety for extra security. The condition is excellent.
