Gorgeous antique moonstone bracelet in 9ct gold, dating from the Edwardian era or slightly later. Eleven captivating cabochon moonstones in graduated sizes are featured. Each has an intriguing, mystical glow, leaning towards white rather than blue. The center stone is largest at 12mm (about 9/16"), and the smallest is 7mm (about 5/16").
The stones are framed in rich, yellow gold bezels, and they move on interlocking links, finely constructed. The bracelet portion is made up of gold diamond shapes that are joined with rings, and there is a secure insert clasp. The width here is 1/4"-1/8".
The bracelet is long at 7-1/2", but your skilled jeweler can shorten it easily by removing links and replacing the clasp.
Unmarked, but tested, it weighs 9.8g. The condition is excellent.
