Art Deco bracelet by Theodor Fahrner, 1920s Germany, in sterling silver with channel set, clear pastes. Ten large, hinged links are constructed with five internal, curved bars; they are bordered by small, bright pastes that are channel-set in the outer frames. This design is very 1920s Deco, and the script of the Fahrner hallmark dates it to the '20s. The bracelet is big (7" by 3/4") and substantial in weight (41.5g), with lots of texture and dimension, making it a great statement piece.
There is some typical, age-related color variation in the pastes and a tiny one is missing on the clasp insert link. The clasp itself is beautifully styled and it closes very securely. It is marked Fahrner, 925, with the TF trademark. There are two safety clasps, and the chain has a replaced spring ring.
