Antique pendant of matte rock crystal with turquoise stones and white enamel in 800 silver. This beautiful old piece is German in origin and has both an 800 silver mark and maker's mark I can't identify. The central plaque is a matte rock crystal (tested) raised oval with a flower basket motif; tiny genuine turquoise stones represent the flowers; the leaves, stems, and basket are rendered in fine silver work. The outer portion of the pendant consists of a scalloped frame in white enamel, and an inner, openwork silver scallop studded with turquoises. The attached bail has fine beading and a turquoise stone as well. The pendant measures 1-3/4" including the bail by 1" at widest. It weighs 7.7g. The condition is very fine and all original with virtually no enamel loss (a couple of edge marks can be seen with scrutiny). A charming and sentimental pendant!
