Art Deco Theodor Fahrner flower earrings in 925 silver with marcasites. These lovelies date from the 1930s-'40s when the Fahrner output included filigree jewelry done in the "millegriff" technique of soldered corded wire. They're shaped like concave flowers with raised pistils and stamens; the curved lower ledge reveals an open-worked crescent below. All surfaces are studded with tiny gleaming marcasites. As seen in my photos, they are designed to tip slightly to the left and right when worn.
The earrings measure 1" across by 3/4" tall with secure clip backs. They are clearly marked TF in a circle and 925 for sterling silver and each weighs 5.7g. The condition is excellent with no missing stones.
