Art Deco earrings in sterling silver with paste carnelians and marcasites. Long and slender, they feature a pronounced vertical silhouette anchored at top and bottom with beautiful elements. At the top, a ribbed carnelian glass stone in a honey-mauve color; at the bottom, an open-worked, fancy rectangle filled with leafy forms. The connecting links in between echo these shapes. Bright marcasites are accents throughout. The earrings are solidly constructed and each weighs 2.6g. Unmarked, they have been tested for silver content. They hang 2-1/4" from the top of the wire and measure 5/16" at widest. The condition is excellent.
