Antique Edwardian 14K rose and yellow gold band ring with a center diamond and deep engravings. The rose gold band features a raised octagonal plaque; its center bears a sparkling diamond as a radiating star; this is framed by the lower octagonal with detailed, engraved edges. The curving shoulders are beautifully engraved with leaves, flowers, and foliage, accented with yellow gold, adding further eye-catching embellishment.
The octagonal plaque at front measures 5/16". The band tapers to 3/16" at back. The ring is marked 14K inside. You can see a faint line where the ring was enlarged. It is size 9-1/2 to 10 and very comfortable on the finger. The condition is excellent.
This gorgeous ring can be worn by a woman or a man. It may have been a wedding ring.
