Antique Victorian or Edwardian bangle bracelet with three amethyst glass stones and elaborate wirework, in rosy gold fill. Large in format, it is 1-1/16" at widest, with an internal circumference of 7". The front portion features a large, 3/4" square stone and two 3/8" stones, each with detailed trim; and applied decorations that have flower terminals. It bridges the outer, curving edges of the bracelet which provide a beautiful frame.
Tapering to 5/16" in back, the metal is smooth and silky. The clasp and hinge work perfectly. This bracelet was barely worn and is in great condition. There are no dings or scratches, and the stones are chip-free (you may see shadows in the photos). It is marked S.O.B. & Co. Pat. Oct. 6 '08, for the Sidney O. Bigney Company, Attleboro, MA.
Please note that the stones are uniformly rich purple, and any other colors you see are a result of my lighting.
