Antique Victorian pendant locket with enameling and seed pearls, in sterling silver and gold fill. The front features vibrant peacock blue, guilloche enameling that appears luminescent on close view. It is studded with eight seed pearls that are set into silver star shapes. These gorgeous stars look as if they're sparkling in a deep blue sky.
Perfect for holding two photographs, the locket has circular openings in both the front and back. Unfilled except for a silk cover, you can hear a little rattling sound from the plastic lenses, but both sides are secure. The frames for the windows, and the bail, are gold filled. The back is sterling silver. It has a maker's mark, JW.
This treasure measures 1" around, or 1-1/4" including the ring bails. It has been fully tested.
