Signed Theodor Fahrner TF ornate sterling silver ring with a large cultured pearl and marcasites, dating from the Art Deco 1920s. Glorious in size, this beauty has a lustrous cultured pearl at its center. It is surrounded by soldered corded wire in spirals and beading; raised half-domes with sparkling marcasites; and two lines of marcasites as trim, adding more dimension. All of these elements figure in a tripartite circular design. The front is convex while the sides are concave.
Magnificent in size and presentation, it rises nearly 3/4” on the finger. North to south, it is 9/16”, and east-to-west, it is 7/8”, domed.
The ring is silver in color although it has a gold cast from my lighting in some photos.
The condition is excellent with no loss to the nacre of the pearl or the silver. It is a size 8 , marked Sterling Germany and conjoined TF in a circle.
