Antique Edwardian blue and white guilloche enamel locket and chain in gold wash over sterling. Double sided, with a white rim framing the blue enamel, this oval locket is in superb condition with no apparent wear. Gold in color, which is scarcer than silver, it hangs from a delicate pale gold chain having four guilloche enameled links.
Measuring 1-1/2” by 7/8" including the ring bail, the locket is marked Sterling RB Co (B with arrow), 4914, for R. Blackinton & Co., N. Attleboro, MA, in business between 1862-1967.
The color of the links is different from the locket. The locket is aqua/turquoise, while the links are pale blue. The detachable chain, unmarked, is 22” long. The previous owner wore these together. You can separate the locket and chain if you wish and wear them with other pieces in your collection.
