Art Nouveau stickpin with detailed bug and four pastes in gilt brass or gold fill. This insect has two antennae and four legs, with an amber paste stone and two violet pastes in its body. At the right, a larger purple paste stone. The pin itself has an unusual shape with curled edges and a ribbed texture. The top measures about 5/8” and the entire pin is 3-1/4”. Marked GW on the reverse, it is in very good condition with age-commensurate darkening but no chips to the stones. The pin is slightly bent.
