Dating from around 1920, this simple Grodnertal is jointed at the shoulders and hips but not at the elbows or knees.
She has painted facial features and black painted ‘shoes’.
She has been dressed as a nun - ideal if you want to create a Sound of Music vignette with your dolls! Her costume consists of a black habit with black chemise underneath, a white wimple and a short black cloak.
Around her waist she wears a white gold crucifix attached to some narrow black ribbon. The crucifix is unmarked but it has been tested and is guaranteed 9 carat white gold.
Crucifix measures 1 ½ inches long.
Condition: her habit is a bit creased and prone to sticking up at odd angles but this can be fixed with a careful pressing. Otherwise she is in good condition for her age.
