This is a signed lithograph by J.G. Keulemans who was a Dutch illustrator born in 1842. He lived and worked in England illustrating most of the best known ornithology books of the nineteenth century. He was known for his life like depth and tone of his birds. The colors are nice and bright and not faded. The lithograph measures 9 3/4”W x 11 3/4”H. This was framed by Borghese.
