This is a bold and gorgeous pin from the 1940s! It is signed Sterling. Part of the setting is silver and the majority has a rose gold wash. Under magnification there are a number of fine scratches to the rose gold wash. Some might buff out but you would want to be cautious not to take off too much of the finish. I can see some light wear with the naked eye but it does not mar, in my opinion.
The large green faceted rhinestones are rather kite-shaped. This is a large size! It measures 3 7/8" by 1 3/4".
This is a piece that has been in my collection for many years. I think it is so Retro, so bold in size and design, so lovely with the rose gold wash....it is really spectacular!
