This truly lovely piece has been in my personal collection for years. It's hard to part with!
It is ART DECO and likely French. It has a trombone clasp that is identified with European, often French, pieces. The setting is of high quality and is weighty. It is well made and so pretty! I noticed under magnification that the center stone that is set into, perhaps, a piece of genuine crystal, caused a small flake on the back side because of the drilling. This would have occurred in the manufacture about 100 years ago!
There are pillow-y black baguettes on either side of the center. The remaining stones are clear. The piece measures 2 3/8" by 1 1/16".
