This is an early Miriam HASKELL piece from the 1930s-40s, and has the traits of Frank Hess. It is so whimsical and colorful! I just love it!
This has an elaborate concoction with beads and bead caps and findings that dangle from a bar pin. The metal is brassy. There is a cinnabar bead, a cloisonne dragon bead, and a black carved Bakelite bead, among others! Most of the beads have a piece of "coral" or "jade" dangly from the tips. These may be faux and let's presume they are just for the ease of it. It has an Asian feel. The piece measures approximately 2 1/2" wide by 4" long. It is not signed but the beads and design work identify it as hers.
Condition is very good and it has a definite vintage Haskell vibe!
