This is another smashing pewter-trimmed graniteware or otherwise called enamelware coffeepot / teapot from the 1880s. This one is special because of the stork or egret bird depiction on either side and the ornate handle.
This pot is in good condition. This one is likely Manning & Bowman, as most were. The lid has an ancient repair at the hinge. There is some play at the top of the pot where the metal meets the enamel. It is secure, however. There is a "reverse dent" of 1/4" on the lid (meaning it protrudes outward instead of inward). There is a bit of rust where the spout meets the enamel but it is mentioned for accuracy rather than any significant concern.
These display so beautifully! This one measures 9 3/4" tall by 9 3/4" across (from handle to spout).
I'll include shipping/insurance in the price of this splendid piece!
