This marvelous set is from the 1904s. It is Sterling silver with a vermeil finish and in very good vintage condition. The primarily blue rhinestones have an interesting cut -- they are 6-sided. The tail feathers have small blue chatons and the tips of the wings have clear rhinestones as do their faces. They each have a red rhinestone eye.
The primary bird measures 2 1/4" in either direction. A double chain connects it to a smaller bird that measures 1 1/8" by 1". The earrings are screw-backs -- so they can be easily adjusted to your comfort level but tightening them until you feel them and backing off slightly. Each earring measures 1 1/4" by 1 1/8".
A really nice set from this Golden Age of costume jewelry!
