The beauty and uniqueness of this marvelous belt is difficult to convey in the photographs. It may be German. It is unmarked as far as I can ascertain. There are gold tone and silver tone links and the multicolored rhinestones are set in a kind of bezel. They appear to all be present and accounted for and are well-affixed.
One of the pictures conveys the back side very well. You can see the sort of hand wrought mesh in the construction. Very intriguing!
The belt measures 1 1/4" wide by 28 3/4" long. The good news is that the buckle can be worn at the back and a length of chain could be added without disturbing the integrity or value of the piece -- in case you need more length.
I will try to get some better shots of this wonderful piece. My photography skills are a bit rusty!
