This elegant faux pearl necklace was designed by Kunio Matsumoto. He was an architect who created a line of jewelry for Trifari in the 1970's. This necklace is gorgeous and timeless. It has two strands of faux pearls. They are meant to resemble mabe' pearls with their interesting shapes. The clasp is a series of three panels in graduated sizes with a center faux pearl. The metal is shiny goldtone, a nice complement to the sheen of the faux pearls. Necklace clasp is hidden. It is about 18 1/4" long when clasped. The clasp is 3" across and 1 3/4" long at one end. Necklace is signed Trifari and Kunio Matsumoto and is in excellent condition.
