This spectacular all glass necklace is Czech. They were known world wide for their outstanding beads and these are amazing. The dark beads are deep purple . They are clusters of seven or eight beads. The clusters are graduated in size along the sides of the necklace. If you look at the centerpiece of the necklace the beads are the largest size. The very center bead is clear. There is a geometric design carved into it in four places - very subtle. Then there are large clear spacers between the purple clusters. Along the chain the spacers are tube beads. This would probably date from the 1920's/'30's. The center bead is about 1 1/8" end to end. The center part including the two side clusters of purple beads is 5 3/4". The necklace is a little over 36" long and the tube beads are 7/8" long. There is a partial label on one of the tube beads near the back center. It is hard to believe it survived after all of these years. I don't see any damage. If you love unusual beads then this might be perfect for you. This vintage necklace is in excellent condition. I can't even imagine what it would cost to purchase these individual beads today in a bead shop and they would be new, not vintage!
