I never thought I would call an end cap amazing but these three are just that. They remind me of cut steel although I can't say for sure if it is steel. The metal is cut so it almost looks like it is studded with rhinestones but there are no rhinestones there. It is the metal that shines when the light hits it. The three caps have faceted purple glass beads at one end. There are two huge purple beads further up along the chain and some small round ones. The metal tube beads are smooth but the round metal beads are textured. This is a wonderful vintage piece made in Czechoslovakia (Bohemia) probably in the 1920's/30's. The original length of the necklace was about 17 1/2". A piece of chain has been added at one end so the length now is 20 7/8". That piece was slipped on a split ring and can easily be removed. The drop is about 3 5/8" long. The large beads along the chain are 1" end to end. The metal has tarnished due to age (not the end caps). Necklace is in excellent condition. The clasp may have been replaced at some time. I say this because it has not tarnished like the rest of the metal.
