This is an early Mexican silver bracelet. It was made prior to 1948 when they introduced the eagle marking system. This bracelet is simply marked Mexico Silver. It test for sterling. I would call the design a modified tank track design. The links are hollow but the weight still comes in at about 55 grams. The center links have an applied decoration with an onyx stone in the center. The side pieces are plain. The shape of the links is most interesting and it sits high on your wrist. Bracelet has a hidden clasp, very simple and very secure. It measures about 8 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide. The center links are a little over 1/2 inch in height. There are some dents on one of the sides but nothing on the top. Bracelet has some old patina. This show piece is easy to wear and in excellent condition.
