This spectacular sterling and onyx pendant comes on a chunky sterling chain. The pendant has a green onyx center with a traditional design in the silver surrounding it. The pendant is signed with the eagle 196 mark for Guadalajara. It is signed JLF. According to the "Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks" these initials are for Jose' Luis Flores. The book shows him as using Eagle 1 and 3 so I am not sure if this is the same designer. It also says that these initials were also found on Emma and Miguel jewelry. The chain is marked 925 and measures about 23 3/4 inches long. The pendant is 2 3/8 inches and is marked as described. Necklace weighs about 50 grams and is in excellent condition.
