This is one spectacular necklace. The incredible royal blue glass beads are a wonderful contrast to the goldtone metal. (This is a very old piece so the goldtone is more subtle than today's jewelry.) Alternating with the blue beads on the chain are beads with three discs. The acorn plaque has a lot of detail and it ends in more of those deep blue beads in the form of a dangle. The chain is about 26" long. The plaque with the bale and dangle is about 4 5/8" long. I believe this necklace dates from the 1930's and is Czech (Bohemia). There is minor wear to the metal consistent with its age and use - nothing major. The most wear is on the fitting holding the large bead at the end of the necklace. This vintage beauty is in excellent condition.
