This is a magnificent strand of Navajo pearls. The beads are about 8mm. They have a very unusual double strand of the beads near the center front of the necklace. The actual centerpiece is large with a green turquoise center and a beautifully scalloped edge. The pendant is marked Hecho en Mexico. It is not unusual to find a Mexican piece used to complete a Navajo piece. After all they are next door neighbors. The necklace is about 17 1/2 inches long with a loop clasp. The centerpiece measures 2 inches top to bottom. This necklace weighs just under 90 grams and is in excellent condition. There are no other markings but everything tests sterling silver.
