This is my all-time favorite! These 1940's brooches are always so gorgeous but this one is different. It is Art Deco from the end of that design period. The large spray has a very exciting and forward thinking floral design. The metal is sterling with gold vermeil. The leaf and the "flower" stems are long and graceful. But it is the "flower" that gets your attention. It is artfully composed of square rhinestones in the deep and luscious Montana blue and aqua. The square rhinestones are unusual and the colors spectacular. The blue stones are foiled but the aqua ones are unfoiled and open backed. This delightful pin is sure to bring compliments. It is just under 4" long. There is normal wear to the gold vermeil so please look carefully at the photos. I have priced it accordingly. One of the stems is marked Sterling.
