Offered here a very beautiful, museum quality cameo depicting a Bacchante.
The cameo frame measures 48 mm long by 40.5 mm wide.
It is a 14K gold frame. We tested the gold with an acid test.
Museum quality masterfully carved in high relief. The pose is somewhat unusual as it shows the figure from the back with the head turned to the side. Another little surprise is the head of tiger or other large cat adorning the dress off the shoulder.
