Up for sale is a hand painted ACEO Card after Anton Van Dyck (1599-1641) made by French artist Poster. The work is very detailed and nicely made and is after the original work by Sir Anthnis van Dyck titled Bildnis des Sebastian Leerse und seiner Familie; the original painting is at the Frankfurt am Main, Städell Museum (a photo is included in the gallery). The card is protected by a thick bevelled glass.
Estimated Age: This item is estimated to have been made in France during the early part of the 20th Century and is signed by the artist
Dimensions: The size of this item is (height x length x width in inches): unframed 3.7 x 5.6; framed 7.5 x 9.5 x 1.5.
Condition: This item is in excellent antique condition; there are minor signs of wear on the gold gilt; the Dieppe card has some minor age stains; there is a small crack on the top left corner (but the piece is still together does not look like a restoration); there are no signs of repairs or restorations to note.
