Up for sale, is a pair of polychrome porcelain figures of Balinese dancers (Balinese dancer and dancer "Bayadere") on a square base. Both pieces are hand painted and decorated with suits according to the region; the pieces were elaborated with an exquisite detail and finely finished.
Estimated Age: These pieces were made in the 20th century; both pieces are duly sealed on the lower part with the gold-colored mark of Hutschenreuther Germany, printed pattern number 8230 (the Female Dancer) and 8229 (the Male Dancer), and the signature of the painter F.K. for Friedrich Kreusch; C. Werner is marked on the back of the bases, since they correspond to Carl Werner's project around 1950.
Dimensions: The size of each piece is (height x length x width in inches): Female Dancer: 11.6 x 4.9 x 2.8; Male Dancer: 12.2 x 5.2 x 2.8.
