Charming antique bungalow dollhouse was made by either Cass or Converse according to the book, American Dollhouses and Furniture by Dian Zillner. The exterior and interior features attractive stenciled paint on wood designs in gold, green and rusty red.
A bay window adds architectural interest to the front. The porch is highlighted with spool turned posts and the roof has stenciled fish scale shingles. The front is hinged and opens to a cheery one room interior.
The doll house is made in 3/4" scale and measures 12" t x 15" w x 13 1/4" d. The room measures 5 1/2" t x 12 1/2" w x 6 3/4" d. It is in very good condition with the stenciling still bright and intact. The base is partially missing on one side. It is also missing the porch steps, chimney and roof railing.
An inscription on the underside of the porch roof reads, 'Esther Anger 1909 Xmas'.
We're showing it furnished with Tootsie Toy furniture (sold separately).
