Dynasty Doll Collection Musical Automaton Doll by Cardinal, Inc. Early 1990s
This enchanting doll from the Dynasty doll collection by Cardinal, Inc. is a musical automaton. When the key on the back of the maroon velvet base is wound up, her head and arms move as she plays the violin and a wonderful melody can be heard at the same time.
She has a porcelain bisque head and forearms and a vinyl body. She has beautiful blue glass eyes framed by platinum blonde hair fashioned in a sweeping up do and accented with a pink flower. She has a beauty mark on one cheek and is wearing a maroon satin choker.
Her maroon ribbon, pink flowers and lace edged dress has a maroon satin bodice and full cream skirt with lace netting overlay. A pale green satin overcoat has lace and beaded trim around the neckline, long sleeves with gathered lace, pink flowers and maroon ribbon trim and a gathered skirt that is open in the front and caught up in several places with pink flowers forming large poufs. She is holding a masquerade mask in one hand and a pink feather fan in the other.
The overall measurements are 16 1/2" t x 5 3/8" w x 5 3/8" d. She measures 12 1/2" tall. She is in excellent condition.
