Vintage Deco Silver Plate wine cooler shaped as Viking Ship with Maiden. Strong German Deco piece, makers mark of "Kayser" with silhouette of an eagle above, (photographed) impressed #43. The Kayser mark is the signature for J P Kayser & Sohn which was in operation from 1894-1925 in Krefeld, Bochum, Germany. Firm was most famous for high style Art Nouveau Pewter which they marketed as "Kayserzinn." Woman believed to be a figure from a Wagnerian opera. This is a great example of high style German Deco. No repairs or damage. I had piece replated. with Sterling Silver. Very clean. Approximately 19 inches long, 14 inches tall, 5.5 inches wide.
