This extremely good quality desk set dates to the second half of the 19th Century c1870. Made with marble, gilt brass and cloisonné work decoration this was always intended for a grand desk. It is offered in very good condition overall retaining its original letter opener and pen holder. One of the glass ink liners is missing. Understandably this is very heavy.
