This incredible assistant’s cabinet presented below is made of noble oak wood and represents a gem of the Breton style of furniture. This sublime cupboard dates back to 1910 and was manufactured in France.
The cabinet is made up of two central panels. The facade of each panel is decorated with extremely elegant plant-themed S-shaped wood carvings, confirming the masterful craftsmanship with which the cabinet was manufactured. Above each panel are two drawers decorated with floral ornaments, above which is an oak table top crowned with a graded superstructure. A particularly interesting functional and decorative element are the lock fittings and drawer handles, which with their decoration add to the charm and sophistication of this exceptional piece of furniture.
The superstructure, which provides the cabinet with an air of monumentality, consists of wooden panels decorated with two embossed side columns and a crown in the center, on top of which is an additional drawer with a chiseled central floral ornament surrounded by four small columns.
The lower part of the chest has been mounted on an oak panel, which together with the balustered front legs forms an additional shelf.
The whole piece is supported by four legs in the form of plinths.
The cabinet boasts an extremely sophisticated appearance and will undoubtedly add charm and elegance to any living room or dining room interior.
Despite its age, the chest has been preserved in an exceptional state with only a few traces of wear accumulated through decades of use. We hope that its value will be appreciated by many customers.
The AUTHENTICITY of the chest (period of manufacture, type of wood used) has been certified by an experienced specialist of vintage and antique furniture.
