Rare antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1889. Her bisque head is made by Simon & Halbig. This adorable doll stands 11.8" (30 cm) tall. Her bisque head has a not visible hairline on the front of her head. The head is marked "SH 1009 DEP St".
Beautiful blue glass fixed eyes. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Pierced ears with earrings. Old mohair wig.
The doll has a cloth body in good condition with no leakage of sawdust. Bisque lower arms without damage, cracks and chips.
The doll wears an antique original outfit. Cotton underclothes, oilcloth shoes.

There will always be some minor indication of their age or imperfection caused by use, such as toned, crazed, chipped composition, minor wig pulls, touch-ups on composition/finish/paint, scratches on the body etc. It is impossible to mention all of the normal age or conservation details in the description.
