Antique German bisque head doll made by Kley & Hahn, ca. 1903-1905. The Walkure mold was made mostly for the US market. Her bisque head is by Kestner. The head is marked “Walküre Germany 0½ 43”. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The doll stands ca. 17" (43 cm) tall. She is in very good original condition!
She has big beautiful glass sleep eyes, with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Original blonde mohair wig.
A slim composition and wood flapper body in very good condition. The body has some minor areas of age-related wear.
The doll wears an original outfit, a blue silk dress, cotton underwear, oilcloth shoes.

* I always mention MAJOR issues such as hairline crack or other damage to bisque, or total repaint in the description above. But please understand that antique dolls can't be in brand-new condition. There will always be some minor indication of their age or imperfection caused by use, such as toned, crazed, chipped composition, minor wig pulls, touch-ups on composition/finish/paint, scratches on the body etc. It is impossible to mention all of the normal age or conservation details in the description.
* Please also read our terms as stated before committing to buy any item. If you consider layaway, it is extremely important to read and understand this shops Layaway Plan, and clarify any terms with the shop owner before you enter into a Layaway Plan agreement. PLEASE NOTE: There are NO returns or exchanges on layaway items.
